Vice President of University Operations

This position is part of the Haskell Indian Nations University, Bureau of Indian Education (BIE), Department of the Interior (DOI). As a Vice President of University Operations, you will be responsible for providing executive oversight and direction for essential operational functions, including facilities, grounds, custodial services, dining, safety, security and other university support services.

Your typical work assignments may include the following:

• Serving as Vice President of University Operations, providing senior-level direction, oversight, and accountability for the broad and complex scope of services including Campus Security, Dining Services, Facilities Management, Safety, Maintenance, Grounds & Custodial Services.
• Establishing operational priorities, allocating resources, evaluating organizational performance, and ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of essential services in support of the university's mission and daily operations.
• Supporting the President by planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and managing university-wide administrative and support resources and activities within the scope of Haskell Indian Nations University.
• Directing and overseeing general support and operational services for Haskell Indian Nations University, including property management, procurement, supply management, and related administrative functions.
• Providing senior management oversight and accountability to the President for the effective and efficient management, operation, safety, maintenance, and stewardship of Haskell Indian Nations University's physical infrastructure.
