This position is part of Haskell Indian Nations University, Bureau of Indian Education. As a Facility Operations Specialist, GS-1640-12, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing various programs and projects across the campus. This includes determining the maintenance and upkeep requirements of assigned facilities elements and managing procurement, projects, and contracts for these and other programs.
Your typical work assignments may include the following:
Manages project execution, to include project initiation, scope development, cost estimates, design coordination, DSRM review, construction oversight, inspection scheduling, punch list development, and project closeout.
Manages complex, multi-phase construction, renovations, and deferred maintenance projects using advanced knowledge of facilities management and engineering support principles.
Uses Maximo or equivalent CMMS/DMWO systems to validate deferred maintenance backlog, develop project priority...
