General Summary  There are three main focus points of this position: (1) to instruct college level courses in the Life Sciences, such as: Introductory Chemistry, Fundamentals of General Chemistry, Fundamentals of Organic and Biological Chemistry (2) develop a Physical Chemistry course and (3) to build novel place-based research projects, mentor undergraduate students in research activities, write successful grants to support research with the intent to publish research in peer-reviewed journals. The individual in this position will be involved in curriculum planning, development, and assessment, record keeping and student advising. General Summary: Maintain and repair trucks, heavy equipment, and support vehicles used in the Highway Construction Training (HCT) program. Maintain a safe, clean work environment. Ensure safety of self, students, and others on projects and work areas. Instruct students in basic preventative maintenance and repair procedures to enhance truck driving and heavy equipment training. Must have ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
