The National Fund — the Congressionally chartered 501(c)(3) foundation supporting the Bureau of Indian Education and its 183+ schools — is seeking a technical assistance contractor to support Native language immersion and revitalization efforts across BIE-operated and Tribally Controlled schools.
Work under this contract may include curriculum planning and framework development (standards, scope and sequence, instructional design), as well as educational material design — producing worksheets, storybooks, posters, and visual aids, and training teachers in accessible design tools like Canva. Contractors need not have expertise in all areas; details on how to apply to a specific scope are available on our website.
Strong candidates will bring experience working with tribal communities and language programs, the ability to collaborate with educators and community knowledge holders, and a commitment to culturally grounded, community-led education. Compensation is $40–75/hr depending on scope and experience.
The National Fund is also seeking proposals in additional areas related to our Language Program — visit nfeaie.org/join for the full list of open scopes and instructions on how to apply.
Please contact us at info@nfeaie.org if you have any questions about this opportunity.
