General Summary The Technology Purchasing Agent / IT Support Technician is responsible for coordinating and managing all technology-related purchasing for Salish Kootenai College (SKC), ensuring that technology acquisitions align with institutional standards, budget requirements, and operational needs. This position serves as the primary point of contact for technology procurement, software licensing management, vendor coordination, inventory control, and asset tracking. In addition to purchasing responsibilities, this position provides technical support for the SKC’s information technology infrastructure by installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computers, printers, peripheral devices, and network-connected equipment across campus. The position assists faculty, staff, and students with technology-related issues and provides backup support for the IT Help Desk as needed.
