General Summary  There are three main focus points of this position: (1) to instruct college level courses in the Life Sciences, such as: Introductory Chemistry, Fundamentals of General Chemistry, Fundamentals of Organic and Biological Chemistry (2) develop a Physical Chemistry course and (3) to build novel place-based research projects, mentor undergraduate students in research activities, write successful grants to support research with the intent to publish research in peer-reviewed journals. The individual in this position will be involved in curriculum planning, development, and assessment, record keeping and student advising.
