General Summary The Technology Purchasing Agent / IT Support Technician is responsible for coordinating and managing all technology-related purchasing for Salish Kootenai College (SKC), ensuring that technology acquisitions align with institutional standards, budget requirements, and operational needs. This position serves as the primary point of contact for technology procurement, software licensing management, vendor coordination, inventory control, and asset tracking. In addition to purchasing responsibilities, this position provides technical support for the SKC’s information technology infrastructure by installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computers, printers, peripheral devices, and network-connected equipment across campus. SUMMARY The Information Technology & Risk Management Coordinator is responsible for the administration, security, maintenance, and strategic oversight of the College's information technology systems, technology resources, institutional safety programs, security initiatives, emergency preparedness efforts, compliance activities, and risk management functions.  This position serves as the primary point of contact for technology operations and institutional risk management across all College divisions. The Coordinator works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, contractors, vendors, and external agencies to ensure reliable technology services, secure information systems, regulatory compliance, and a safe learning and working environment.
