Purpose of this position This position provides direct instruction to students and related services in the subject areas of Diné Linguistics and Language.  The Professor of Diné Linguistics and Language will prepare undergraduate and graduate students in Diné linguistics and language to successfully complete the requirements for the Master of Art (MA) degree in Diné Culture, Language & Leadership Program.  In addition, the Professor will commit to doing excellent academic teaching, advisement, mentoring, conduct professional academic services, community services, actively and regularly publish his/her research work.  The Professor will work under the supervision of the Department Chair and in cooperation with the Graduate Dean.   Duties and Responsibilities The essential duties and responsibilities of a person occupying this position are Instruction: 1.      Subject to review and approval by the Department Chair, plan, evaluate, implement and revise...
