General Summary: Provide instruction for students in the basic principles of heavy equipment operation (HEO), proper pre-start procedures, basic preventative maintenance and repair procedures to enhance heavy equipment and truck-driving operation, and safe operating practice. Instruction is intended to produce well-rounded entry-level operators and insure safety of participants and others on projects and in work areas.
