Position Overview
The Grant Writer identifies, develops, and submits competitive grant proposals aligned with the College’s Strategic Plan. This role also manages post-award reporting and compliance.
This position is eligible for remote or hybrid work.
What You’ll Do
- Research and identify grant opportunities (federal, state, tribal, private)
- Write and submit clear, compelling, and compliant proposals
- Collaborate with departments to gather data and program details
- Track deadlines, deliverables, and reporting requirements
- Prepare required reports and ensure compliance
- Maintain organized grant records and documentation
What We’re Looking For
- Strong writing skills (clear, persuasive, and detail-oriented)
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines without falling apart
- Experience with grant writing or fundraising
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Higher education or tribal community experience
- Familiarity with grant systems and compliance
- Experience with federal grants and reporting
Work Arrangement
This position is remote-eligible. Employees must maintain a professional workspace, remain responsive during business hours, and attend required meetings or events.
