Pueblo of Laguna

The Pueblo of Laguna is a federally recognized Tribal Nation located approximately 45 miles west of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Pueblo's reservation encompasses nearly 500,000 acres across Cibola, Valencia, Bernalillo, and Sandoval counties and is home to six vibrant villages: Laguna, Mesita, Paguate, Seama, Paraje, and Encinal.

Rooted in a rich cultural heritage and strong traditions of stewardship, the Pueblo of Laguna is dedicated to protecting its natural resources, serving its community, and preserving its sovereign Tribal identity for future generations. Through a commitment to innovation, sustainability, and public service, the Pueblo provides essential governmental services that support the well-being of its citizens and community.

The Pueblo of Laguna is seeking an experienced and visionary Environmental & Natural Resources Director to lead programs that protect, preserve, and enhance Tribal natural resources. Reporting to the Chief of Operations, this position provides strategic leadership for Environmental, Natural Resources, Rangeland Management, and Realty programs while ensuring sustainable land and water stewardship for future generations.
