Keweenaw Bay Ojibwa Community College is a Tribally chartered land-grant institution located in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Rooted in Anishinaabe values and the Seven Grandfather Teachings, KBOCC provides holistic, student-centered education that supports academic achievement, personal growth, and community well-being. KBOCC is a multi-generational learning hub. The college provides educational opportunities spanning early childhood and preschool programs, Career and Technical Education for high school students, higher education degree programs, and community-based learning opportunities. The college offers associate degrees and certificates in areas including business, environmental science, nursing, psychology, Anishinaabe studies, and general studies, while also promoting lifelong learning and workforce development opportunities.

KBOCC is dedicated to preserving and advancing Anishinaabe culture, language, and lifeways through culturally grounded education and community engagement. Accredited by the Higher Learning Commission, the college serves learners from diverse backgrounds while maintaining a strong commitment to Indigenous knowledge systems, leadership development, and community empowerment. Through transfer partnerships with regional universities and hands-on learning experiences, KBOCC prepares students to pursue advanced education, meaningful careers, and service to their communities.
