Pitzer College offers a personalized educational experience to approximately 1,200 students, emphasizing environmental and interdisciplinary studies, the arts, humanities, and social, behavioral, and natural sciences.
We’re part of The Claremont Colleges – a unique consortium of five undergraduate and two graduate institutions sharing numerous programs and facilities. At Pitzer you have access to all the resources of a major university while enjoying the benefits of a traditional residential liberal arts college experience.
Pitzer's Community Engagement Center (CEC) connects students and faculty with local organizations to support community-based research, service learning and experiential education opportunities that enhance the social, environmental, cultural and economic health of our communities. The CEC liaises between the institution and community partners, providing internship opportunities, fiscal and programmatic support, as well as providing logistical support to students, faculty, staff, and community partners.
