Position Summary: The purpose of the Circle Back Initiative is to provide holistic support to current and returning students so they can navigate college processes, connect to support systems, build community connections, and reach their goals. The Circle Back Specialist is a full-time staff member in the Academic Hub who will mentor students in the Circle Back program, a case management initiative for students returning to Fort Lewis College after taking time off and students who need additional support academically while at college. The Circle Back program will identify eligible students through collaboration with faculty and staff across campus, develop interventions to support the students’ success, maintain personalized and responsive relationships with CB students, and provide support in all aspects of the return-to-campus decision-making process.
