The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) College of Nursing invites applications for the position of Associate Professor/Professor and Associate Dean of Equity & Inclusion.

The College of Nursing at the University of Illinois Chicago is one of the premier nursing schools in the nation, with undergraduate and graduate programs ranked in the top 20 by U.S. News & World Report and a research enterprise ranked No. 1 in the Midwest and No. 8 nationally for NIH funding. The successful candidate for Associate Dean for Equity & Inclusion, as the Diversity Officer for the College, will be responsible for the development and implementation of the college's diversity strategic plan, which is dedicated to the goal of building a culturally diverse, inclusive, and pluralistic faculty, staff, and student body committed to research, teaching and practice in a global multicultural environment.  The Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusion works with the Assistant Director of the Urban Health Program and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs to execute its mission.  This is a part-time administrative position to be combined with faculty scholarship for late mid to senior faculty rank.

QUALIFICATIONS:   Candidates must possess a doctoral degree with eligibility for faculty rank in any track at the Associate Professor rank, Full Professor desired; proven Equity and Inclusion expertise as demonstrated by leadership role and/or scholarly work.
