The Fort Lewis College campus sits atop a stunning mesa overlooking historic downtown Durango, the Animas River, and the San Juan Mountains. With boundless access to wilderness and an unparalleled natural laboratory, FLC's accessible, high-quality degree programs are shaped to address the unique resources and challenges of the Four Corners. Areas of study include the arts, business, education, health sciences, humanities, social and natural sciences, and teacher education.
Our 3,300 students come from 48 states, 17 countries, and more than 170 Native American tribes. Fifty percent of our student body is made up of students of color. We are one of two non-tribal colleges in the country who offer a tuition waiver to Native Americans and hold a deep commitment to continued nurturing of our native communities and traditions. This is not possible without the contributions of every faculty and staff member helping to cultivate FLC's diverse community.
