Billings Clinic, Montana's largest not-for-profit integrated healthcare provider has posted a new leadership opportunity, Native American Liaison.
The incumbent in this role will be a primary resource for the coordination of efforts to foster positive relations with our regional Native communities, the Native patients we serve, and improve our internal Billings Clinic workforce diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the development of cultural and education programs to increase levels of awareness and assist in the incorporation of cultural understanding into all aspects of the Billings Clinic patient and family experience. The Liaison will provide professional support to our Billings Clinic regional and business development staff as they work to build relationships and partnerships in our region, including relationships with Indian Health Service, Tribes, Tribal Colleges, Native-owned businesses and individuals. The incumbent will work internally to ensure diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging for all employees, including our Native employees, as well as mentor our employees to enhance equity, inclusion and belonging for all patients and families as we serve their healthcare needs. This individual will be part of the team that identifies and pursues external partnerships and funding opportunities to advance the organization's strategic priorities.
