Arkansas Archeological Survey

The Arkansas Archeological Survey (AAS) invites applications for a permanent, full-time position as Director to begin July 1, 2021, or as soon as possible thereafter. The position is based at the AAS Coordinating Office (2475 N Hatch Ave., Fayetteville AR 72703), located on the University of Arkansas agricultural complex just north of the main campus.

Established by the Arkansas General Assembly in 1967, the AAS operates a statewide program of archeological research, public service including preservation of records and collections for archeological sites and projects, and educational outreach through the Coordinating Office and ten research stations.
