The Director of Tribal Relations and Resource Development (DTRRD) supports California Indian Nations College’s (CINC or “the College”) mission to provide culturally responsive education rooted in Native American values. This leadership role helps develop CINC’s strategic advancement efforts by cultivating relationships with Tribal nations, foundations, corporations, and government agencies. As part of CINC’s senior leadership, the Director serves as CINC’s primary liaison with Tribal nations, governments and urban Indian communities. Reporting directly to the President, the CFO will provide financial leadership through strategic analysis, forecasting, and resource planning to ensure the College’s fiscal sustainability and growth. This position is responsible for administering short- and long-term financial planning, developing and managing annual operating and capital budgets, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, tribal, and accreditation requirements.
