Position Highlights: The University of Arizona's Indigenous Resilience Center in collaboration with the Department of Teaching, Learning, and Sociological Studies in the College of Education is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate I position on Indigenous Education within the Native FEWS Alliance. This position would begin as of January 2023. This is a year-to-year appointment, contingent upon funding and performance. The Native FEWS Alliance aims to significantly broaden the participation of Native American and underrepresented students in Food, Energy, and Water Systems (FEWS) education and careers to address critical challenges facing their communities. As a College Librarian/Library Coordinator, under the general supervision of the College Provost, the College Librarian/Library Coordinator shall oversee the daily operations of the college library and provide training and guidance to library personnel that may include student workers and tutors. The College Librarian will help students, faculty and staff with finding and recommending source materials as well as determining what type of materials they need. Shall also instruct patrons on basic computer skills, educate them on policies and how to use library resources. Set up new technologies, such as media conferencing, mediated instruction and other library services. Assume responsibility for cataloging print and non-print materials.
