Job Title: Payroll Technician
Reports To: Bookstore and Finance Manager
Status: Full-time/ Regular/ Non-exempt
Salary: $18.50- 19.50 an hour (DOE)
SUMMARY: The payroll technician will compute, classify, record, and verify payroll, 401(k) and personnel records by performing the essential duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Reviews, enters, and processes timesheets, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and agreements; runs payroll, prints checks and deposit notices, and prepares related reports; prepares 401(k) runs; prepares and files tax documents;
Perform daily payroll operations;
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely;
Reviews, enters, and processes timesheets;
Receives and reconciles payroll reports;
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports;
Execute Paychex TLO time and attendance and interface with payroll;
