The position of Assistant Vice President (AVP) for Indigenous and Native American Affairs is being created to establish and oversee University initiatives, research, consultation, and programs that relate to and impact Indigenous and Native peoples and Nations. The AVP reports to the President and is responsible for developing relationships and collaboration with Tribal Nations, Indigenous communities, and their members on behalf of the University; creating infrastructure to facilitate the coordination of campus efforts related to research, service, and campus culture; and supporting Indigenous and Native American students, faculty, employees, and alumni employed at, interested in, enrolled at, and graduating from Colorado State University.
