This position is part of the Bureau of Indian Education located at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence, Kansas. As a Custodial Worker you will be responsible for providing janitorial services to university facilities, offices, and buildings. As a Custodial Worker WG-3566-2, your typical work assignments may include the following: Performs comprehensive cleaning of classrooms, education laboratories, computer rooms, offices, hallways, dormitory/residential, and restroom facilities, etc. Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and replenishes supplies, cleans spills, cleans drinking fountains, mirrors, tables, walls, fixtures, blinds, light fixtures, etc. Empties trash cans and relines cans with liners. Sweeps, mops, steam clean, waxes, polishes, and buffs floors. Vacuums and shampoos carpets and rugs.
