The United States Coast Guard Academy is currently accepting applications for a minimum two-year appointment as Leader in Residence (LinR) at the Admiral James M. Loy Institute for Leadership (Loy IFL). The Loy IFL works closely with the Academy’s Provost Office, School of Management, and Commandant of Cadets’ staff and other groups at the Academy who all share responsibility for cadet leader development. The Leader in Residence will play a critical role in strategic discussions, the Academy’s leader development system, and serve as a leadership consultant/liaison to Academy faculty, staff, and cadets under the general direction of the Loy IFL Director, and in collaboration with the Dean of the School of Management.
