Scope of Work
Native Indigenous Initiatives (NII) has a long history at Pitzer College. The College seeks to build on this foundational work in reassessing the structure and nature of College academic programming related to NII so as to effectively meet current and anticipated needs, expand positive impact, and establish sustainability. To this end, Pitzer College is seeking a short-term, six-month experienced consultant to begin as soon as possible to help create a blueprint for College academic efforts related to Native Indigenous Peoples and issues, including conducting outreach and devising strategies for strengthening Pitzer’s institutional relationships with multiple tribes in the region. The consultant will be responsible for collecting and synthesizing information, developing actionable recommendations, and providing the outline for a draft implementation plan for future NII work within Pitzer College’s Division of Academic Affairs.
