General Summary : Under the direction of the President, the Vice President of Academic Affairs (VPAA) serves as the chief academic officer of the college and is responsible for educational/academic policies, programs, and personnel. The VPAA has primary leadership responsibilities for planning, implementing, coordinating, and assessing the educational programs of the College. In assuming these responsibilities, the VPAA must work closely with Academic Deans, other administrators, and members of the faculty. The Field Museum is searching for Native American Early Career Fellows for North American Anthropology to join our team! Applications will be considered on a rolling basis until positions are filled. This paid, one-year Fellowship is designed specifically for Native American recent graduates with lived cultural experience who are interested in careers in museum collections management, registration, conservation, or curation. Fellows will have the opportunity to work directly with the Native North American collections at the Field Museum.
