Summary of Job Duties: The Society/Survey Liaison is responsible for coordination of public archeology activities between the Arkansas Archeological Survey and the avocational Arkansas Archeological Society. These responsibilities include communications, liaison with Survey research stations and local avocational archeologists, engagement with and outreach to the statewide Society Executive Board, local Society chapters around the state, and the Society-based Board of Advisors. Additionally, the Liaison leads coordination of the annual events jointly organized between the Survey, the Society, and external organizations, and co-administers the Arkansas Site Stewardship Program with the State Archeologist and Site Stewardship Committee Chair.
