The Person: The NCI is seeking an innovative and energetic leader to serve as its Deputy Director and Chief Technology Officer (dual role) for the Division of Cancer Prevention (DCP). The DCP ( http://prevention.cancer.gov/ ) conducts and supports research to determine a person's risk of cancer and to find ways to reduce the risk. Research fostered by the Division focuses on translational prevention and detection, but also spans the disease process: early interventions to stop or slow the progression of cancer, and symptom management during treatment.
