DESCRIPTION The Eastern Region Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) Center, under contract with the Administration for Native Americans (ANA), works with tribes and native organizations in the Eastern half of the United States to develop community-based projects to improve the self-sufficiency of their communities. Through trainings and providing individualized assistance we work to assist applicants receive funding and awarded recipients with successfully completing their projects. This is a 100% remote position requiring the candidate to have either a home-based office or a dedicated place to work uninterrupted. High-speed internet is required. Candidate is expected to work an 8-hour day, M-F, generally between the hours of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern (exact schedule will be determined at time of hire). The Data Science Facilitator position will be associated with the Data Science Hub, whose mission is to coordinate campus-wide data science resources and expertise, connect researchers and tools, and collaborate to build community and capacity. This position will be funded through a partnership with the American Family Insurance Data Science Institute (DSI), whose mission is to perform cutting-edge research in the fundamentals of data science and to catalyze the translation of this research into practice to advance scientific discovery in collaboration with researchers across campus and beyond.
