Digital Project & Systematic Search Librarian

Blaisdell Medical Library, University of California, Davis (Sacramento Health Sciences Campus)

The Library of the University of California, Davis, seeks an energetic, collaborative, and experienced librarian to work closely with faculty, researchers, programmers, and policymakers in a highly interdisciplinary academic community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert search collaborations on the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Patient Safety Network (PSNet) web content and for working closely with researchers and trainees at the UC Davis Health Center for Healthcare Policy and Research (CHPR) on literature reviews for systematic reviews and policy analyses. S/he must be able to work effectively with faculty, web developers, trainees, and librarians. This is a .50 FTE temporary position located at Blaisdell Medical Library, University of California Davis (Sacramento campus). This position will report directly to the Head of Blaisdell Medical Library and be responsible for the above-referenced CHPR and PSNet-related work. The position’s continuance is contingent on grant funding and/or federal contract continuance.

Rank and salary: Assistant to Associate Librarian ($30,600 - $44,435). (Appointment rank and salary based on qualifications and experience.)
