Job Description

Lane Community College (LCC) seeks an innovative and results-driven Associate Vice President of Culture and Belonging. As a member of the leadership team, the AVP-CB will work collaboratively across divisions to embed inclusion into every aspect of institutional practice, policy, and culture.
The Associate Vice President of Culture and Belonging will have the authority to design and execute strategies that drive measurable outcomes in access and student success. This position is responsible for crafting and implementing a comprehensive agenda that aligns with LCC’s mission, vision, values, and 2022-2027 Strategic Plan, which aims to reduce disparities in student outcomes, enhance community partnerships, and improve organizational climate. The AVP will have supervisory responsibility of the existing Gender Equity Center, Multicultural Center, and Longhouse, and will work with these units in close collaboration with student affairs, academic affairs, and human resources.
 

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in education, student affairs, social justice, multicultural education, Native American studies, behavioral or social sciences, or related field.
  • A minimum of five years of progressive leadership experience in culture and belonging or related roles, preferably in higher education.
