Job Description

The University of Minnesota Morris invites applications for a tenure-track opening in Economics at the Assistant Professor rank, starting date August 11, 2025. The teaching load is 20 credits annually (5 4-credit courses). The successful applicant will teach Micro Theory (for Econ majors), Managerial Economics (for Business and Management majors), and 3 additional classes to be determined by mutual interest. Possibilities include Econometrics, Principles of Economics, and/or elective field courses in either Economics or Business and Management. We are particularly interested in candidates who have some interest in contributing curriculum in the Business and Management area. Ph.D. in Economics or a related field by the starting date is highly preferred. A strong commitment to teaching is essential.
