General Statement of Duties:
The Institutional Support Assistant at Blackfeet Community College (BCC) is pivotal in facilitating a welcoming and efficient front-office environment, offering key receptionist duties and serving as the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and community members. This role encompasses managing cross-campus communications through phone and email, ensuring seamless information flow and coordination. Additionally, the assistant will collaborate closely with the Human Resources Department, Institutional Development, and the President’s Office, providing comprehensive office management and technical support. Responsibilities include assisting in the effective delivery of office operations and services to further the college’s mission, vision, and goals. Through these efforts, the Institutional Support Assistant plays an essential role in supporting BCC's operational and strategic objectives.


  • Minimum of a high school diploma 
  • Preferred Associate Degree in Office Administration, Business Management, Education, Social Work or related field, if no degree must submit education plan
  • Minimum of one year secretarial or administrative assistant experience or relevant area.
