GS-07SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. One year of specialized experience that equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. This experience is related to the work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the Federal service. Examples include: Providing technical support in conducting investigations; Ensuring proper record-keeping on all concerns/complaints; Organizing and maintaining files, reports and other records related to compliance; Disseminating educational materials, including (but not limited to) brochures, posters or web based materials informing members of a community of relevant rights, processes, responsibilities and resources; Assisting in developing tailored information to specific communities as appropriate.
EDUCATION: Successfully completed one full year of appropriate graduate level education (18 semester hours, 27 quarter hours or equivalent) in a field of study directly related to the work of this position
-or- Superior Academic Achievement which included one of the following: 1) Class standing-applicants must be in the upper third of the graduating class, based on completed courses; or (2) Grade-Point Average-applicants must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 based on the average of the required courses completed in the major field completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum; or (3) Election to membership in a National Scholastic Honor Society -membership in a freshman honor society cannot be used to meet the requirements of this provision. In order to be creditable under this provision, superior academic achievement must have been gained in a curriculum that is qualifying for the position to be filled.
-OR-COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combination of graduate level education and specialized experience when combined together meets 100% of the total requirements for the position. To compute, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100% to qualify.

This experience is related to the work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in the Federal service. Examples include: Assisting in handling claims of misconduct, violence, assault, harassment, and discrimination with sensitivity and neutrality, while ensuring compliance with relevant policies; Communicating with local law enforcement and government agencies ensuring reports are handled appropriately and in a timely manner; Organizing and maintaining files, reports and other records related to compliance; Disseminating educational materials, including (but not limited to) brochures, posters or web based materials informing members of a community of relevant rights, processes, responsibilities and resources; Developing tailored information to specific communities as appropriate.
EDUCATION: Have a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B. or J.D., if related.
-OR-COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combination of graduate level education and specialized experience when combined together meets 100% of the total requirements for the position. This experience is related to the work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service. Examples include: Handling claims of misconduct, violence, assault, harassment, and discrimination with sensitivity and neutrality, while ensuring compliance with relevant policies; Overseeing prompt, effective and equitable intake, investigation and timely resolution of instances of sex/gender-based violence, harassment, discrimination and retaliation; Communicating with local law enforcement and government agencies ensuring reports are handled appropriately and in a timely manner; Collaborating and coordinating with compliance partners across the institution to support compliance needs and responsibilities; Identifying systemic problems relating to complaints and determining whether institution-wide resources should be adopted in response; Developing educational materials, including (but not limited to) brochures, posters or web based materials informing members of a community of relevant rights, processes, responsibilities and resources; Developing tailored information to specific communities as appropriate.
EDUCATION: Possess a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. orLL.M., if related.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed graduate level education and specialized experience may be used to meet total experience requirements. Only graduate level education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be combined with experience.
