Colorado State University is accepting applications for an International Admissions Analyst. This International Admissions Analyst analyzes and adapts current processes and policies to create solutions that are likely to lead to international student enrollment growth at CSU. An international student applying to the USA is a complex process. The primary goal of the International Admissions Analyst is to leverage systems and workflows so staff and students can more easily navigate the application and admissions process at CSU. The areas in which the position will provide ongoing analysis and improvement include applicant communication and counseling, international admissions processing, admissions decision-making, immigration services, and scholarship eligibility and criteria. The incumbent will have or be able to develop an expertise in international credential evaluation using leading organizations such as AACRAO, WHED, TAICEP, and NAGAP.
In addition to ongoing analysis and process improvement, the International Admissions Analyst leads day to day international application processing efforts and counsels prospective students and their families, primarily by email and phone but also in person. The position supports international students at all levels of study, including degree-seeking and visiting students. The position leverages systems (Slate, Banner, Sunapsis, Microsoft Suite, etc.) to reduce wait times, and reviews and makes decisions on applications for admission. The International Admissions Analyst will work closely with immigration services, Office of Admissions processing staff, and graduate departments to advocate for international student enrollment objectives.
This is a full-time administrative professional position reporting to the International Admissions Manager. The position works predominantly in person on the CSU campus with the potential for some flexibility in work arrangements.
Salary: $54,000-$55,000
