Brief Summary of Job Duties

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

• Engages in and develops high quality community focused research (i.e., grants, contracts publications, dissemination).

• Teach courses consistent with the goals of the Center (where applicable).

• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students in health equity research.

• Engage with external organizations and stakeholder groups in furthereance of the Center’s mission and goals;

• Engage in research career development activities.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Requested Minimum Qualifications

 

Education

 

Doctoral degree in public health, social sciences, analytics or related field.

 

Other Preferences for Consideration

 

Experience in health equity and/or soial justice from an academic or organizational perspective; experience in health policy analysis or spatial analysis and GIS.
