Job Description

The Student Account Specialist is primarily responsible for handling student account inquiries by phone, email, and in person. Facilitating payments as they are made in person, online, by mail or by financial aid is also a main job function. Delivering exceptional customer service to all of the Elon University community is essential.

Duties include:

-Maintenance of general office email account 
-Request student refunds as applicable 
-Reconcile departmental fines assessed to student accounts 
-Answering phone calls and serving students, faculty and staff 
-Receipt of payments, and petty cash reimbursements 
-Assist with all registration events 
-Process students for enrollment based on payments and notice of financial aid 
-Backup to other Student Account Specialists

Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school~ or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
