This position provides intensive, proactive academic advising, degree planning support, and UNIV 101/102 instruction to students in the STAR program. STAR advisors also provide outreach, support, and advocacy for students experiencing academic difficulties (e.g., those on academic warning, probation, suspension or with Academic Early Alerts). This position works closely with campus partners to ensure students have access to a comprehensive range of support services, as STAR advisors play a vital role in Student Success at CWU and share responsibility with faculty and staff to help facilitate strong rates of degree attainment and student retention.
