The Stanford University Graduate School of Education seeks an open-rank, tenure-track faculty member who will contribute to a new program in education data science. We are interested in candidates from a variety of academic disciplines whose research exemplifies this emerging field. We invite applications from candidates who specialize in learning analytics, educational data mining, and/or education big data, and who make effective use of new computational methods, such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, network analysis, and/or natural language processing techniques. A strong preference will be given to applicants who use state-of-the-art computational methodologies to drive discovery and address problems in education.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and advising doctoral and master's students in the Graduate School of Education.
