Achieving the Dream seeks expert higher ed consultants needed to support rural and tribal college and university programs. Consultants will have experience building capacity, leading systemic reform, and sustaining continuous improvement. Consultants will work with faculty and staff at all levels of their assigned institution to sustain and evolve substantive change. Will have thorough understanding of equity and how systemic barriers prevent success for students to support the use of an equity-centered pathways organizing framework for the student success work.
Ideal consultants will have experience as a senior leader within academic and/or student affairs/services, implementing systemic, evidence-based reform and deep understanding of the complexity of higher education at state, regional, system and institutional levels.
Must have subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Consultant must have the ability to build trust and working relationships with leadership, faculty and front-line staff, strong interpersonal skills, and diplomatic finesse. Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative data, analytics frameworks, and evaluation metrics and methodologies; and advanced proficiency in virtual technology tools and platforms.
