Position Title: Part-Time On-Call Substitute Elementary School Custodian
Department: Theodore Jamerson Elementary School (TJES)
Reports Directly To: TJES Principal
Status: Part-time, on-call, exempt
Salary: $90.00 per cleaning at 8 hours OR $45.00 per cleaning at 4 hours
Summary of Duties:
Position requires that any UTTC employee accepting the part-time/on call position will work before and/or after school hours and evenings as scheduled. Non-UTTC employees will work according to schedule set by the Principal and can include, before, during, and/or after regular working hours. Minimum of 4 hours per day.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Also requires lifting, stooping and climbing in the performance of duties. Frequently makes decisions of average difficulty regarding maintenance of school buildings and grounds.
High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong Communication Skills.
